Tesla to launch India's first Supercharging Station in Mumbai's BKC on August 4

With the Supercharger network, a Tesla Model Y can add up to 267 km of range in just 15 minutes -- enough for several city trips, such as five return journeys between Mumbai Airport and Gateway of India, an official statement said

Tesla on Friday announced the launch of its first official Supercharging Station in India on August 4. The charging station will be located at Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai.

An official statement said that the launch of charging station marks a key step in Tesla’s expansion into the Indian market.

The charging station will offer four V4 Supercharging Stalls (DC) and four Destination Charging Stalls (AC), giving Tesla owners flexible charging options.
