Six-month-old captive tiger cub at Mumbai's SGNP dies of infection

The six-month-old cub was undergoing medical treatment for a last few weeks. Bajirao, the cub's father, had killed eight people in a span of 21 months at Rajura in Chandrapur. He was later captured by the Rajura Forest Department in Chandrapur Circle in 2020 and sent to captivity at SGNP

A captive tiger cub died after succumbing to an infection at Mumbai’s Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) on April 16.
The six-month-old cub was undergoing medical treatment for the past few weeks.
