Mumbai to get UAV surveillance, panic buttons to ensure women's safety

To enhance women's safety in the megapolis, Mumbai police are planning to use Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for surveillance and install 'panic buttons' across the city, a senior official said on Friday. The measures are part of an Rs 252-crore Safe City Project, which will be implemented fully in three years.
