The Mumbai Traffic Police on Thursday announced a long-term road closure in Bhandup East to facilitate water pipeline replacement work, along with an experimental odd-even parking system on a road in Mulund West to ease traffic congestion.

The restrictions in Bhandup East will come into effect on October 30, 2026, and remain in force until May 31, 2027. The parking regulations in Mulund West will also begin on October 30 and continue until January 29, 2027.
