A rake of the push-pull Amrit Bharat Express train on Friday reached Mumbai for 130 km/h trials, officials said.

The trials are being conducted by the Research Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO) and the train is being tested at a speed of 130 km/h, they said.

The push-pull configuration means that the train has locomotives at both ends, allowing for better speed and quicker turnaround.

Designed for long-distance and high-volume travel
