Delayed and undone road repair work contributed in the death of a 12-year-old boy in Kalyan West on Tuesday, after a truck passing through a half-repaired, congested road crushed him. Locals and family members have alleged the death also occurred because of the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation's (KDMC) negligence. They protested outside KDMC chief's home on Tuesday, demanding action in the case. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Jayshilan Raja Ayyakutty 12, a resident of Rambaug in Kalyan West. The incident took place on Tuesday evening.
