Mumbai: Two convicted for plan to target ONGC, other city spots

A Sessions Court on Thursday convicted two accused, Abdul Rashid alias Guddu and his brother-in-law Riyaz Ali Imtiaz alias Rehan, for conspiring to attack the ONGC headquarters and other spots in the city.
Judge Sanjay V Patil convicted both the accused under Section 18 (conspiracy) of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). The sentencing will be on Friday. Special Public Prosecutor Rohini Salian examined 27 witnesses for the case.
