<p>Two people lost their lives in an accident on <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-three-held-for-demat-account-fraud-23333481" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Parel Bridge</a> on Sunday (February 4) night.</p>
<p>The accident took place on Parel Bridge at around 9.45 pm on Sunday.</p>
<p>The car in the <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-crime-news/article/mumbai-crowds-stage-protest-over-detention-of-ghatkopar-man-23333448" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">South Bound region</a> collided with the divider and then collided with a two-wheeler in the North Bound region. "The driver was allegedly overspeeding, after which the accident took place. We have identified the accused as Imteaz Shaikh (21). The victims were taken to KEM hospital for further treatment," said an officer.</p>
<p>The deceased had been identified as Sohail Shaikh (39) and Mohammad Sohail Shaikh (12).</p>
<p>Asman Sohail Shaikh (35) and Fatima Sohail Shaikh (4) are undergoing treatment at KEM hospital.</p>
<p>"The family was on a two-wheeler and they are residents of Dadar," said the police. The <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-40-year-old-murdered-by-daughters-admirer-23333314" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Kalachowike police station</a> are investigating the matter.</p><p>
