Mumbai University will give its land to MMRDA

Mumbai University will give its land to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) to construct 1.2km long elevated road with 2+2 lanes from bharat Diamond Bourse Junction in BKC to Vakola Junction near Western Express Highway
Mumbai University will give its land to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) to construct 1.2km long elevated road with 2+2 lanes from bharat Diamond Bourse Junction in BKC to Vakola Junction near Western Express Highway.
The objective is to ease traffic congestion and better connectivity. Mumbai University will handover 18,834sq. meters land to MMRDA. Besides this, MMRDA will also be constructing 400-m long 30-m wide road in vicinity of Mumbai University for additional connectivity from BKC to Santacruz Chembur Link Road. Another 15,881sq.meters land will be given to MMRDA. In all, Mumbai University will hand over 34,715sq.meters land to MMRDA.
