Blind law student alleges kidney coercion attempt during Mumbai stopover

A visually impaired law student from Delhi has alleged that an acquaintance attempted to coerce him into donating a kidney during a stopover in Mumbai. The student claims he was taken to a hospital in Andheri under suspicious circumstances before being abandoned near Dadar

A 24-year-old visually impaired law student from Delhi has alleged that an acquaintance attempted to coerce him into an organ donation during a stopover in Mumbai, after taking him to a hospital in Andheri.

Simon Johnson, who is completely blind and pursuing an LLB in Delhi, was travelling to Thiruvananthapuram for a computer programming course with a man who had earlier worked as his scribe. The two left Delhi on Friday and reached Vasai on Saturday afternoon.
