Several BMCâu00c2u0080u00c2u0088group leaders have lost their seats to reservation and delimitation — Manoj Kotak (BJP), Trushna Vishwasrao (Sena), Sandeep Deshpande (MNS), Dhananjay Pisal (NCP) and Rais Shaikh (SP) as the reservation of 227 seats for the 2017 civic polls was finalised on Monday.

Standing Committee chairman and three-time corporator, Yashodhar Phanse (Sena), and Leader of Opposition Pravin Chheda saw their wards merged with two others; Devendra Amberkar (Congress) and Bhalchandra Shirsat (BJP) lost theirs to the OBC lady’s category.
