Mumbai weather: IMD forecasts heavy rain, gusty winds; conditions likely to improve from Friday

Mumbai is expected to receive another spell of moderate to heavy rain over the next 24 hours, with isolated areas likely to witness very heavy showers, the IMD said. The weather department has also warned of gusty winds of 60-70 kmph, while forecasting a gradual improvement in conditions from Friday with reduced rainfall.

Mumbai is likely to witness another wet day, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting moderate to heavy rain across parts of the city and suburbs over the next 24 hours, along with the possibility of very heavy showers at isolated locations.

The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Mumbai, has also warned of gusty winds of 60-70 kmph, which could trigger waterlogging and traffic snarls in vulnerable areas.
