The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a partly cloudy sky with chances of thunderstorms, moderate rainfall, and gusty winds across Mumbai and adjoining areas on Friday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.

In Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar, thunderstorm activity with lightning is likely, while Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg may experience similar weather conditions.
According to the Thane Belapur Industries Association (TBIA), the minimum temperature in the region was 26 degrees Celsius with 78 per cent humidity, and no rainfall was recorded in the past 24 hours. The total seasonal rainfall now stands at 59.4 millimetres.
Among other stations, Colaba recorded a minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius with 9 millimetres of rainfall, while Santa Cruz (SCZ) logged 27 degrees Celsius with no rainfall. In Ratnagiri, the minimum temperature was 24.3 degrees Celsius with 17.2 millimetres of rainfall and 84 per cent humidity, whereas Mahabaleshwar remained cooler at 18 degrees Celsius, blanketed in fog, and received 25.8 millimetres of rainfall.
Further inland, Pune recorded a minimum temperature of 21.4 degrees Celsius, 90 per cent humidity, and 18.3 millimetres of rainfall. Matheran reported 19 degrees Celsius, 84 per cent humidity, and 3.8 millimetres of rainfall, while Malegaon remained dry at 22.6 degrees Celsius with 90 per cent humidity.
Across other parts of Maharashtra and Goa, widespread cloudiness with isolated light to moderate rain was observed.
In Sangli, the minimum temperature was 21.8 degrees Celsius with 85 per cent humidity and 1.2 millimetres of rainfall, bringing the seasonal total to 62.1 millimetres under cloudy skies. Dahanu reported warm, humid weather with a minimum of 26 degrees Celsius, 86 per cent humidity, and no rainfall, while its seasonal total stood at 40.4 millimetres.
Satara remained damp with a minimum of 21.4 degrees Celsius, 95 per cent humidity, and 11.1 millimetres of rainfall, pushing its seasonal tally to 28.6 millimetres. In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, the minimum temperature was 22.8 degrees Celsius with 81 per cent humidity and 0.2 millimetres of rainfall, while the seasonal rainfall reached 50.7 millimetres.
Along the coast, Mormugao in Goa witnessed humid conditions with a maximum temperature of 31.8 degrees Celsius, a minimum of 24.2 degrees Celsius, and 5.6 millimetres of rainfall, taking the seasonal total to 93.8 millimetres.
In Solapur, the minimum temperature stood at 23.1 degrees Celsius, with 73 per cent humidity and 15.2 millimetres of rainfall, while the seasonal rainfall climbed to 28.8 millimetres. Beed reported a minimum of 21 degrees Celsius, maximum of 32.7 degrees Celsius, 83 per cent humidity, and no rainfall, with a seasonal total of 4.6 millimetres.
Nashik saw dry conditions, recording 22.9 degrees Celsius, 80 per cent humidity, and no rainfall, while Udgir remained humid with 21.8 degrees Celsius, 93 per cent humidity, and 3 millimetres of rainfall, matching its seasonal total. Nandurbar also stayed dry at 24.7 degrees Celsius with 85 per cent humidity.
Overall, the IMD observed scattered rainfall activity across interior Maharashtra, humid coastal weather, and partly cloudy skies prevailing across most regions on Friday.
