The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert on Thursday and predicted hot and humid conditions at isolated pockets in parts of Maharashtra including areas of Konkan region.

Districts including Palghar, Thane, and Raigad are under alert, indicating that these areas are likely to experience hot weather conditions during the day.
