Mumbai weather update: No rain in city over past 24 hours; IMD forecasts temperature around 33 degrees Celsius

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast the maximum temperature to hover around 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to remain near 27 degrees Celsius in the city over the next 24 hours

Mumbai is expected to witness a partly cloudy sky across the city and suburbs on Monday, with the possibility of one or two spells of light rain at isolated locations, according to the latest weather forecast issued at 8 am.

Despite the monsoon season, the city recorded no measurable rainfall in the 24-hour period between 8 am on July 12 and 8 am on July 13. Rainfall recorded in the city, eastern suburbs and western suburbs stood at 0 mm.
