Mumbai weather update: Warm and humid start, IMD forecasts rain and thunderstorms later today

Mumbai on Thursday woke up to a warm and humid morning. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the island city experiences a minimum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius at the Colaba observatory, while the maximum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius.
According to weather data released by IMD Mumbai on June 4, no rainfall was recorded at either of the city's primary weather stations during the 24 hours ending Thursday morning. Following heavy pre-monsoon showers earlier on Wednesday, Colaba registered 0.0 mm rainfall, while Santacruz also reported 0.0 mm precipitation on Thursday, June 4.
