Mumbai weather update: Warm, humid conditions persist at 34 degrees Celsius; BKC records AQI of 190

According to the Central Pollution Control Board’s Sameer App, Mumbai recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 52 on Monday, falling in the ‘Satisfactory’ category. Officials said this air quality level may cause minor breathing discomfort to sensitive groups

Mumbai is expected to witness hot and humid weather with partly cloudy sky in the city and suburbs on Monday, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The weather department has forecast maximum and minimum temperatures to hover around 34 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.
