Mumbai to see partly cloudy skies; IMD issues yellow alert for Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg

The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbai, on Sunday issued a yellow nowcast warning for Maharashtra’s coastal districts of Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg, forecasting thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall, and gusty winds over the next three hours.
The IMD stated that thunderstorms with lightning and light to moderate spells of rain, along with gusty winds reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph, are very likely to occur at isolated places in both districts during this period.
