Mumbai is set to witness a bright and comfortable day on Saturday, with clear skies and temperatures ranging from a minimum of 23 degrees Celsius to a maximum of around 32 degrees Celsius. The pleasant conditions come a day after the city recorded ‘moderate’ air quality, with an AQI of 136, prompting health advisories for commuters in traffic-congested areas.

The city will enjoy stable, sunny weather throughout the day, with no rainfall expected. Visibility is likely to remain strong at around 10 km, ensuring clear conditions across most parts of Mumbai.

Humidity levels are expected to stay moderate at around 80 per cent, keeping discomfort at bay despite the warm afternoon. Light winds, reaching speeds of up to 12.6 km/h, will offer a refreshing breeze, particularly during the evening hours.

Daytime temperatures will peak near 32 degrees Celsius, while the night is forecast to cool down to 23 degrees Celsius, maintaining comfortable conditions for residents.

Sunrise was recorded at 6:55 am, while sunset is expected at 5:59 pm, marking the end of a bright, sunny day.

The city’s air quality continues to remain in the ‘moderate’ category, with an AQI reading of 136.

Meanwhile, Delhi's overall air quality remained in the "very poor" quality on Saturday morning, with an AQI reading of 332.

This is marginally lower than Friday's Air Quality Index (AQI), which stood at 369, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) 9 am bulletin data showed.

According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Alipur, Anand Vihar, and Aya Nagar recorded AQIs of 319, 354, and 324, respectively, in the 'very poor' category, with PM 2.5 as the predominant pollutant across the National Capital Region (NCR).

Industrial areas in the national capital region had a slightly increased AQI than today's average, with Bawana recording 'very poor' air quality at 364 AQI, Narela recording 387 AQI and Okhla Phase 2 having 340 AQI.

The city recorded a minimum temperature of 10.4 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

A mainly clear sky, with the maximum temperature likely to touch 25 degrees Celsius, has been predicted for the day, the weather department said, adding that the relative humidity stood at 90 per cent at 8.30 am.
