Mumbai on Friday woke up to a relatively better weather condition. With a thick layer of smog all across the blue skies still gripping the city, the air quality index did show slight improvement. However, the AQI category still stayed in the ‘moderate’ status. As per the Sameer app, the AQI of Mumbai on November 28 till 10:05 am was 127.
As per the Indian Meteorological Department, Mumbai on Friday will experience clear skies with maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be around 33 degrees Celsius and 23 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Local weather observations from IMD Mumbai indicate that in Colaba, the minimum temperature is 23.5 degrees Celsius, while in Santacruz, the minimum temperature is 22.5 degrees Celsius, which is relatively higher as compared to last week.
Apart from Mumbai, other parts of Maharashtra continue to experience the winter with a significant drop in temperatures since last week.
Ratnagiri reported a minimum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius with 67 per cent humidity.
In Pune, the minimum temperature dipped to 15.0 degrees Celsius with 96 per cent humidity.
On the other hand, Dahanu recorded a low of 19.5 degrees Celsius with 84 per cent humidity.
Mahabaleshwar, the hill station, on the other hand, remained one of the coolest in the region with a minimum of 14 degrees Celsius with 94 per cent humidity.
Mumbai AQI
As per the Sameer App, Mumbai’s AQI in the last 24 hours showed significant improvement; however, the AQI still stays in the ‘moderate’ category. But a drop of nearly by 55 points in the AQI made things relatively better.
Mumbai on Friday morning recorded an AQI of 127 (moderate category) till 10:05 am. With conditions related to the air quality today seeming to get better. Various experts suggest that the lowered AQI will not be a common sight going ahead.
