A 24-year-old model, who is now lodged at the Byculla women’s jail after being arrested for running a sex racket last month, terminated her eight-week pregnancy by endangering her life. She was rushed to the JJ Hospital, where she refused to undergo post-abortion treatment, and was sent back to jail after being provided with basic medication. Sources say the woman kept taking pills for petty health issues, and the abortion could be the result of the same.
