Mumbai’s test positivity rate (TPR) saw a marginal rise on the second consecutive day after registering the lowest TPR of the second wave at 0.51 per cent on Saturday. On Sunday the TPR was 0.66 per cent and on Monday, the TPR was 0.70 per cent. The rise in TPR is attributed to less tests.

However, Mumbai saw a significant dip in new cases as the numbers fell below 200. As per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) report, there were 176 new cases along with four deaths.
