Mumbai’s test positivity rate (TPR) and daily new cases saw a rise on Saturday. As per BMC’s report, 465 new cases and five deaths were reported on Saturday; the TPR was at 1.20 per cent. Of the five deaths, four had comorbidities.

In the state, new cases saw a marginal rise. As per the state health department report, 1,701 cases were reported along with 33 deaths across the state. The state’s case fatality rate remained constant at 2.12 per cent as 1,781 recovered and got discharged on Saturday.
