Mumbai: Dindoshi court sentences 28-year-old man to 20 years’ rigorous imprisonment in POCSO case

The Dindoshi Sessions Court on Wednesday sentenced 28-year-old Noor Alam Abdul Malik Sheikh to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment in a case registered by the Borivali Police under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The court, presided over by Sessions Judge NS Anekar in Court No. 3, pronounced the sentence in Crime Register No. 1152/2022 and Special Case No. 411/2022.
