A security guard taking a snooze, while on duty, accidentally triggered his licensed gun and shot himself yesterday evening. According to the cops, the 50-year-old security guard was manning a private company in J Towers at Bandra-Kurla Complex when the incident occurred. Manaji Kadam had rested his chin on the rifle's muzzle, the cops said, when he mistakenly pushed the trigger. "The bullet pierced his chin and got lodged in his head. He was immediately rushed to Asian Heart Hospital, where he was declared dead before admission," said an officer from BKC police station.
