<p>On Tuesday, the air quality of <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/navi-mumbai-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Navi Mumbai</a> was reported to be in the 'poor' category, as per the SAMEER app, with <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbais-air-quality-holds-in-moderate-category-with-aqi-at-139-23317093" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">AQI</a> at 220.</p>
<p>The AQI data mapped by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), further revealed that of the total six stations in Navi Mumbai, Koprivada-Vashi, Sanpada, Kalamboli reported 'poor' air quality with ARI at 262, 231 and 257 respectively.</p>
<p>Further, the data also revealed that Mumbai's Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 165, in the 'moderate' category around 9 am. Out of the total 22 stations in Mumbai, BKC, Deonar, Kherwadi, Sion areas reported 'poor' air quality on October 31 with AQI at 205, 210, 201, and 219 respectively.</p>
<p>The minimum temperature in Mumbai on Tuesday is likely to be 24 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 34 degrees Celsius.</p>
<p>Further, the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) revealed that Borivali (East), Andheri's Chakala and Worli's Siddharth Nagar in Mumbai are the least polluted with AQI at 100, 66 and 98 respectively.</p>
<p>The data further reveals that the most prominent pollutant in Mumbai is PM 2.5 and O3. While the most prominent pollutant in Thane is PM10.</p>
<p>The most prominent pollutant in Navi Mumbai is PM 2.5.</p>
<p>An AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'.</p><p>
