Navi Mumbai API shoots himself with service revolver

An Assistant Police Inspector of Navi Mumbai Police shot himself with his service revolver on Sunday morning inside APMC police station.

Bhushan Pawar was declared dead after the incident. According to senior officers he was on sick leave from the last two months. Initial probe says he was suffering from depression due to family issues. DCP Zone 0, Suresh Mengde, confirmed that he is dead and the matter is being investigated.
