A pillion rider died, and the driver suffered severe injuries after a motorcycle they were riding on skid over an expansion joining near Vashi Flyover bridge towards Sion, on Thursday. The deceased was run over by a truck, and died on the spot. He was kept at the spot for more than an hour, and could not receive treatment in the golden hours.

The injured victim has been identified as Saroj Chaudhary (26), and the deceased, Markas Aadhav, also in his 20s. Both are residents of Mankhurd, and work as deliver boys with the online shopping firm, Amazon.
