NCP demands biometric attendance system for Maharashtra ministers

Alleging that one third of the total number of departments in Devendra Fadnavis government in Maharashtra have failed to take even a single decision so far, NCP today sought biometric system to keep a tab on the Ministers' attendance in office for improved results
Mumbai: Alleging that one third of the total number of departments in Devendra Fadnavis government in Maharashtra have failed to take even a single decision so far, NCP today sought biometric system to keep a tab on the Ministers' attendance in office for improved results.
"The first cabinet meeting of this government took place on November 1, 2014, while the last one was held on January 12, 2016. During this period, total 63 meetings took place," NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik said in a press conference here.
