Nepal floods: 37 stranded Maharashtra pilgrims begin journey back to Mumbai

The pilgrims were taken by road from Kathmandu to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. From Gorakhpur, they are expected to board a flight to Mumbai, a Shiv Sena leader said

A group of 37 Indian pilgrims from Maharashtra who were stranded in Saga, Nepal, amid floods have been brought to safety and begun their journey back to Mumbai, according to Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena leaders. 

The pilgrims were taken by road from Kathmandu to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. From Gorakhpur, they are expected to board a flight to Mumbai.
