Nepal floods: Maharashtra begins efforts to locate missing citizens, Thane civic body issues advisory

Amid massive floods in Nepal, the Maharashtra government has begun collecting information about citizens and tourists from the state who may be stranded in the neighbouring country, with a focus on ensuring their safety and facilitating assistance.
The Thane district administration has appealed to citizens and tourists from the district who are currently stranded due to Nepal floods, as well as families unable to establish contact with relatives there, to immediately register their details on the Maharashtra government's Sahayata Emergency Evacuation Registration Portal.
