Nine bidders come forward to sell 1,222 houses to I-T dept

The Income Tax department has found developers willing to sell them 1,222 homes in Mumbai. According to officials in the I-T department, nine bidders have shown interest, and their technical bids are being evaluated, based on which they will finally decide who to give the order.

Wadhwa Developers is one name according to sources who has shown interest in selling the homes. When it goes through, the deal will cost no less than Rs 1,222 crore.
