The National Security Guard (NSG) is conducting a Counter Hijacking Drill at Mumbai Airport from October 19 to 24. The counter hijacking task force arrived at Mumbai airport early morning on Monday.

The NSG drill was being conducted at a bay from 11.10 am to 12.45 am using Jet Airways flight VT-JWS under the supervision of Colonel Sanjay Kumar. 142 NSG personnel are participating in this drill. On Tuesday the team conducted it at a hangar from 3.10 pm to 4.15 pm using Star airlines flight VT-ALJ.
