Omicron: 109 out of 295 foreign returnees 'missing' in Thane

'Mobile phones of some of these people are switched off while some gave addresses which were later found to be locked,' said KDMC chief Vijay Suryavanshi

With 10 Omicron cases in Maharashtra, over 100 recent foreign returnees are untraceable in Thane district, a civic official said on Monday.

As per a report by Live Mint, about 109 out of 295 foreign returnees to the township under Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation (KDMC) in Thane district could not be contacted, confirmed KDMC chief Vijay Suryavanshi.
