Palghar rains: Ganesh Naik orders restoration after floods claim three lives

District Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik has directed the Public Works Department (PWD) and the Zilla Parishad to immediately conduct comprehensive damage assessments and prioritise restoration work to restore normal traffic movement and daily life at the earliest

Palghar district in Maharashtra is slowly returning to normalcy after being battered by heavy rainfall between July 22 and July 24, which claimed three lives and caused extensive damage to roads and public infrastructure.
Significant damage was reported along key routes, including the Narpad-Chikhla coastal road and the Vadghar bridge.
