Panvel civic body conducts anti-encroachment drive at Market Yard; seven handcarts seized

The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) carried out an anti-encroachment drive against unauthorised businesses and handcart operators in the Panvel Market Yard area on August 31, officials said on Tuesday.
The action was taken on the instructions of Municipal Commissioner Mangesh Chitale to remove encroachments that were causing difficulties for traffic and pedestrians.
