A 46-year-old passenger, on board an Emirates flight, was today arrested upon his arrival at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport for allegedly molesting an air hostess, police said. <?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

The accused, identified as Harun Salaam, hails from Jalna district of Maharashtra, and works in <?xml:namespace prefix = "st1" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Dubai</st1:city></st1:place>. <o:p></o:p>

"On board the Mumbai-bound Emirates flight from <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Dubai</st1:city></st1:place>, he allegedly molested and behaved indecently with the victim while she was serving him food," police said. <o:p></o:p>

The flight, EK 500 flight, took off from <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Dubai</st1:place></st1:city> at 10.30 PM yesterday and landed at the airport at 3 AM. "The air hostess then brought Salaam's behaviour to the crew's notice. He was allegedly in a drunken state," police said. <o:p></o:p>

Police have arrested the accused, under section 354 of IPC (for outraging the modesty of the woman). <o:p></o:p>
