The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had to unseal Punjab National Bank’s (PNB’s) branch in Brady House, Fort, 24 hours after it had shut it, following public outcry. CBI’s action was criticised not just by account holders, but also by criminal lawyers and chartered accountants.
