The Bombay High Court has directed the Maharashtra government to produce all files and data relied upon by the state executive committee while deciding to not permit unvaccinated persons to travel in local trains in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.
A division bench of Chief Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice MS Karnik was hearing public interest litigation (PIL) that challenges the state government's decision to continue insisting that one must have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine to travel in local trains and use other modes of public transport in the city.
