QNet scam: Billiards legend Michael Ferreira asked to appear before police by Jan 27

While granting interim protection to Michael Ferreira from arrest till January 31, a Mumbai court also directed the former billiards champion to appear before Mumbai police by January 27 in connection with the QNet scam.
Former world billiards champion Michael Ferreira was on Wednesday directed by a sessions court to appear before Mumbai police by January 27 in connection with the Rs 425-crore scam allegedly executed by multi-level marketing firm QNet.
The court was hearing the anticipatory bail application filed by Ferreira in connection with the scam.
