Security beefed up in Mumbai ahead of Dussehra, Vijayadashami, and Navratri celebrations

Mumbai Police have put in place elaborate security arrangements ahead of the Dussehra, Vijayadashami, and Navratri celebrations on Thursday, October 2. Mumbai is expected to witness large gatherings, cultural programmes, and grand immersion processions of goddess idols as part of the annual festivities.

The security arrangements have been planned under the supervision of the Joint Commissioner of Police (Law & Order), as per the guidance of the Commissioner of Police, Mumbai.
