The crowd heard as the high priestess of urban chic literature, Candace Bushnell, held court. As Ira Trivedi veered the session from sex to arranged marriages, to living solo in the Big Apple, Bushnell dropped a few interesting anecdotes and personal adages that reflected her liberated writing that has captured the imagination and fancy of single women (and some men too) across the globe: &gt; I have never felt sick of the Sex and the City phenomenon. I always had a strong drive even as a kid. Writing fiction has been a lifelong dream and commitment for me. I was lucky to come to some attention because of Sex and the City. It does not necessarily influence all of my writing. &gt; There will be an Indian character if there is a third part of the movie series ("I was married in Jaipur," she revealed to the audience, earlier in the session). &gt; I did imagine the success of Sex and the City ufffd I faced difficult times in my 30s. I'm 52 now. I believe that only those are successful who aren't scared to go ahead, not knowing what will happen in the future. &gt; Be a person first, and a gender next. &gt; As a woman, you can't make choices unless you have the money.
