Mumbai: A police patrolling team managed to nab a 18-year-old robber, Shah Rukh Khan, with the help of locals this morning at around 11.30 am in Mumbai.
The accused, Shah Rukh Khan, robbed the mobile phone of one Hitesh Dhurup, 26, after threatening him with a sword while he was on his way from Malwani to Malad.
The victim, who was on his bike, alerted the locals following which a patrolling van caught him with the help of locals while Khan was trying to escape.
The Malwani police has been recording the statement of the victim and they are in the process of registering an FIR in the case.
