Peter Mukerjea's lawyer Kushal Mor filed a bail application at Sessions court yesterday, stating that the investigations thus far have not given any clarity on Peter's motive in the crime. Neither has it been established that he was involved in the crime. The arguments are to be heard at the Sessions court today.

The application states, "The investigations so far has not brought any clarity whatsoever as regards any motive. There is no prima facie material to even remotely suggest that there existed some financial motive to eliminate Sheena Bora or to participate in the conspiracy to eliminate her." The application also says that no statement or documents state that Peter was involved in the crime.
