&ldquo;Aap ko kuch ho gaya to humara kya hoga (What will become of us if something happens to you?)&rdquo; said Special CBI judge H S Mahajan to Indrani Mukerjea during yesterday&rsquo;s hearing in the Sheena Bora murder case.

The judge made the remark after jail authorities complained that Indrani had neglected to take her blood pressure tablets on time.
Apart from addressing Indrani&rsquo;s health concerns, the judge also came down heavily on the Thane police and Thane jail superintendent as they had failed to produce one of the accused, Shyam Rai, who was prime accused Indrani Mukerjea&rsquo;s former driver and alleged accomplice in Sheena&rsquo;s murder in 2012. The police and jail authorities had cited a staff shortage to explain why they could produce Shyam, to which Judge Mahajan said, &ldquo;On May 11, I want all the accused before me, failing which, contempt notices will be issued against all responsible.&rdquo;
The judge extended the judicial custody of all the accused &ndash; Sheena&rsquo;s mother Indrani, her husband Peter, her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and her ex-driver Shyam &ndash; till May 11. The court is also likely to hear Peter&rsquo;s bail application two days after that.
Indrani&rsquo;s health The Byculla women&rsquo;s jail, where Indrani is presently lodged, had written to the judge complaining that Indrani was not listening to them or taking her blood pressure tablets as prescribed. The judge explained to Indrani that she was in the jail&rsquo;s custody and they were responsible for her health. The authorities&rsquo; concern for her health was also displayed earlier, when Indrani was admitted at JJ Hospital and complained of ill-health because of the food in jail. After this, the judge had allowed her a special diet of dry fruits, milk and eggs.
Regarding the medication, the judge told her, &ldquo;You&rsquo;re no doctor; listen to the doctor and do as he says. We are co-operating and helping you -- you also co-operate with us.&rdquo;
Indrani replied, &ldquo;I had low blood pressure so refused to take tablet. But I will follow the prescription in future.&rdquo;
Peter&rsquo;s bail plea In March, Peter applied for bail for the second time; his application was rejected the first time, as the chargesheet was yet to be filed. Yesterday, Peter&rsquo;s lawyer submitted written arguments to the court, and the special public prosecutor sought a week&rsquo;s time to reply. However, the court kept the bail hearing for May 13, stating, &ldquo;Bail application should be decided in one week&rsquo;s time.&rdquo;
In his application, Peter has stated that his wife Indrani was ambitious, calculative and adept at lying. He claimed he was misled by Indrani, who could do anything to fulfil her ambitions. She had not only deceived him about the fact that Sheena and Mikhail were her kids, but had also lied to him about her past relationships. The document further added that Peter was a super achiever who could never conspire to kill someone.
