Shiv Sena steps up outreach to women voters through various initiatives ahead of BMC elections

According to a statement released by the Shiv Sena, during the state assembly elections held last year, women in Mumbai recorded a higher voter turnout than men across all 24 assembly constituencies

With an eye on the upcoming BMC elections, the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena is gearing up with a focused strategy to engage women voters, who have emerged as a decisive force in recent polls.

According to a statement released by the Shiv Sena, during the state assembly elections held last year, women in Mumbai recorded a higher voter turnout than men across all 24 assembly constituencies. Women accounted for 55.92 per cent of votes cast, surpassing men’s 55.07 per cent, marking a significant shift in electoral participation.
