Mumbai: Five senior citizens injured after gazebo roof collapses at BMC garden in Sion

The collapse was reported at Mala Garden, opposite T/18 Building in Pratiksha Nagar area of Sion East. At least three to four people were feared to be trapped beneath the collapsed portion, officials said

Gazebo roof of a ground-floor structure collapsed at Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) Mala Garden in Pratiksha Nagar area of Sion East in Mumbai, officials said on Wednesday, adding that five people were injured in the incident.

The injured, all senior citizens, were taken to Sion Hospital in private ambulances before the Mumbai Fire Brigade arrived, they said.
