Slight dip in Mumbai’s fresh Covid-19 cases at 1,946

On March 14, the city reported 1,963 cases after which the daily cases continued to surge till April. On May 11, Mumbai reported 1,717 new cases and saw a significant rise on May 12 with 2,116 new cases.

After a rise in new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, Mumbai witnessed less than 2,000 cases on Thursday. As per the BMC’s daily report, the city recorded 1,946 new cases and saw 68 Covid-19 fatalities. The state, too, recorded lower cases at 42,582 as compared to Wednesday’s 46,781 new cases.
