In a tragic incident, a Telugu film actor’s mother committed suicide at their Andheri West residence on Friday night. Police said that 58-year-old Vandana Vijay Burman, who was staying with her daughter Megha Burman, also left a suicide note.

Police sources informed that the deceased had been staying with her daughter for some time and was suffering from depression. She had taken an appointment at a private hospital for the same. Her daughter, Megha is an actor and has worked in several Tamil and Telugu films. Her most recent outing was the Tamil film 'Oru Modhal Oru Kadhal', in which she played the lead role. Some of her films include 'Dam 999' and 'Lattoo'.
