Tournament organisor Rohit Thawani said, "The tourney will go on. Now, it is up to players if they want to come in to play."

Schools are open, other institutions have not shut down, so we see no reason to cancel the tourney." On Wednesday though, a clutch of players from Daly College, a school in Indore, pulled out citing fears about swine flu. u00a0 'We're in' Avinash Bhavnani, former squash secretary from Otters Club, Bandra, too dismissed fears, saying, "At least 18 players from Otters Club are in the fray." Dinesh Advani, squash secretary at the Bombay Gymkhana, whose children are participating in the tourney, said, "Children who are unwell would not be participating, so fears that one could contract the flu from other competitors are unfounded." u00a0 N Pundole, Cricket Club of India'su00a0 squash secretary,u00a0 said, "The boys are firming up their travel plans."
